| Administrative History | Hazlehurst and Sons first appear in trade directories as soap manufacturers in High Street, Runcorn in 1834. The company was presumably the successor of Hazlehurst and Greenwood, soap manufacturers (1822), and Hazlehurst and Co, soap boilers and turpentine manufacturers (1829). The company appears to have moved its main operations to the Camden Works c1857-1860. It does not appear in the 1896 trade directory. |
